Street Ratz: The Heist Named Casino Freak’s Editor’s Choice for July 2026

We’re excited to share that Street Ratz: The Heist, our bank-heist-themed slot packed with three distinct bonus features, has been named Casino Freak’s Editor’s Choice Game of the Month for July 2026. You can read Casino Freak’s full breakdown of the game here.

Casino Freak is one of the industry’s trusted sources for honest, in-depth slot reviews, so having Street Ratz: The Heist singled out among this month’s releases is a recognition we’re proud of — and a great excuse to walk you through what makes the game tick.

A Heist-Themed Slot Built Around Three Ways to Win Big

Street Ratz: The Heist drops players into a bank robbery story told through a rat-crew cast and a reel set loaded with expanding wilds, sticky symbols, and multiplier stacking. The base game centers on the VS Symbol, an expanding wild that lands on reels 2, 3, and 4. When a VS Symbol lands in a winning combination, it expands across the entire reel and triggers a “shootout” animation carrying a multiplier between 2x and 50x. Land multiple VS Symbols in the same win, and their multipliers add together before applying to the payout.

Three Bonus Rounds, Three Different Playstyles

What sets Street Ratz: The Heist apart is that it doesn’t rely on a single bonus round — it offers three, each triggered by its own scatter symbol:

The Heist is triggered by landing three or more Heist scatters in the base game (10, 15, or 20 free spins for 3, 4, or 5 scatters respectively). Every Wild that lands during this feature becomes sticky and stays on the reels for the rest of the round.

The Holdup uses the same scatter-count structure for spin awards, but increases the frequency of VS Symbols landing, meaning more expanding wild opportunities per spin.

The Getaway plays out differently. It opens with a three-spin Collect Phase where only Wilds, Multiplier symbols, and Dud symbols can land — every Wild or Multiplier collected resets the counter back to three spins, and the phase ends after three consecutive non-winning spins. From there, the Showdown Phase kicks in for three spins where normal paying symbols return, every Wild collected during the Collect Phase lands randomly on the reels, and wins are multiplied by the total collected Multiplier value. A +Spin symbol can also land here for an extra spin.

Players who don’t want to wait for scatters to land naturally can jump straight into any of the three features through the Buy Button.

The Numbers

Street Ratz: The Heist runs at a base RTP of 96.36%, with Buy Bonus RTPs of 96.04% for The Heist, 96.04% for The Holdup, and 96.41% for The Getaway. Max win is capped at 12,500x bet, achievable through the base game or any of the three bonus rounds.
